Northwest Sewing Center on Burnet Road in Austin is a family-owned, full-service sewing machine shop. Founder Lee Roy Schilling worked for Singer for 30 years before opening the store as a Singer sales and service center, and his daughter, Mary Freudenberg, carries on the shop today. Expect service and repairs on most models of sewing and embroidery machines, plus parts and classes.
Hours vary; open Monday to Saturday.
